Carlsberg Celebrates Award-Winning Year With Christmas Tree Activation

​27ft fir tree on London’s Southbank will give away complimentary beer and spot prizes to consumers.

Beer brand Carlsberg will unveil a 27ft fir Christmas tree on London’s Southbank this Friday [December 4th] between 12pm and 7pm in celebration of an award-winning year. 

The Carlsberg Christmas creation will be fitted with candle-lit beer bottles, digital festoon lighting and a large beer hop at the top of the tree - all to wish Londoners a very hoppy Christmas. 

The first 100 visitors to the tree will also receive a limited edition, hand-blown bespoke glass Carlsberg ‘beerble’, fit to consume the perfect sample of Carlsberg.

The festive fun isn’t just limited to London, with beer-lovers able to win a host of prizes through Carlsberg’s social channels during the event, including a year’s supply of Carlsberg.

Brits will be encouraged to follow @CarlsbergUK on Friday for live news from the tree and information on how to win.

Carlsberg’s approach to its marketing strategy has won many plaudits in 2015, with the brand’s all-agency ‘newsroom’ approach delivering award-winning activations such as its beer-dispensing poster in April.
