We strive to minimise our impact on the environment and optimise our use of resources across our operations in an effort to help build a more sustainable future. Sustainable, affordable and accessible resources are essential for our business if the Carlsberg Group is to drive shareholder value and the UK business is to benefit the communities in which we operate. However, we must face the reality of scarce resources, waste and land degradation, all of which have an impact on business and on society in general. We therefore try to reduce waste wherever possible and make optimum use of the available resources, both in our brewery operations and throughout the supply chain.
